The Instrument Rating is one of the most challenging ratings a pilot will undertake in their flying career. It demands concentration, focus and precision every minute of every flight. While it’s possible to do the Instrument Rating in a single engine aeroplane, it has little value for pilots wishing to fly commercially as most employers are looking for the Multi Engine Instrument Rating.
